Crime and technology

Here's a very interesting talk at a recent TEDx conference by Marc Goodman.  He addresses the topic of how technology is affecting crime, and how criminals are using it to target us.  I was particularly struck by his account of how terrorists are using technology, with specific reference to the Mumbai attacks of 2008.  You can watch that discussion about 11 minutes into the video.  It certainly gives me food for thought about what I need to do if I'm ever caught in such a situation!

Interesting and very enlightening.

Wow! There are no restraints in the criminal world. It's all a go. Very uncomfortable. Not doing facebook or twitter. It's hard enough to come up with a "high" password! Thanks for the video. Lots of food for thought.
